Introduction
Truth to be told, this New Yorker, who spent most of her childhood and youth in Barcelona, comes from a wealthy family. She wasn’t from the beginning clear about her career choice, so she studied philosophy and journalism. However, somewhere along the way, she discovered her passion for photography and decided to try her luck.
She was good and achieved great success. But, Botton quickly realized that being a successful and recognized photographer doesn’t necessarily arrive with a lot of money.
What Did She Do?
Tatiana knew that she needs to do something fast if she wanted to continue enjoying all the privileges of wealthy people she got so accustomed to when she was a child. So she used a trust fund set up by her family and invested in real estate in different cities in the USA and Spain. At first, she was renting apartments and houses regularly. However, as the money accumulated, her appetites grew bigger. After she got married to Lauren McCollum, the couple started double and triple renting and selling real estate. Most of her clients were businessmen from the States and different European as well as Asian countries, who are known to be involved in illegal activities of some kind. Despite conducting different kinds of fraud, Tatiana and Lauren keep finding ways to avoid being brought to justice.
